These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Spanish Coach service ("Service") provided by R L Inspirations ("we", "us", or "our"). By using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using the Service, you accept these Terms. If you do not agree, you may not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Spanish Coach is an AI-powered language learning platform that provides conversational Spanish practice through text-based interactions with an AI coach.

3. User Accounts

You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account.

4. Subscription and Payment

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.

Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled. You may cancel at any time to stop future payments — your Pro access continues until the end of your current billing period.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to misuse the Service, including: unlawful use, fraud or spam, intellectual property infringement, or security interference (malware, probing, scraping).

6. Intellectual Property

We retain ownership of the Service and its intellectual property (software, documentation, branding). We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service within your selected plan.

7. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access for material breach, non-payment, security/fraud risk, or repeated/serious policy violations.

8. Disclaimer

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free performance.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability is limited to the fees you paid in the prior 6 months. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or special damages.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of the United States.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

13. AI Use Disclosure

Spanish Coach uses generative AI solely to provide conversational language practice, gentle corrections, pronunciation tips, and self-tracked activity indicators (such as personal "practice points", daily streaks, and minutes spoken). These indicators are gamification of the learner's own activity. They are not assessments, scores, ratings, certifications, qualifications, language-proficiency levels, or authoritative evaluations of any person, and they are not shared with third parties as such.

The Service is not designed for, and must not be used to make or materially influence, decisions about a natural person, including but not limited to: employment, hiring, promotion or termination; education admissions or credentialing; access to essential public or private services; creditworthiness or insurance; law enforcement, migration, asylum or border control; administration of justice; biometric identification or categorization; or medical, legal, or financial advice. Any "score" or feedback shown to a learner is a personal practice metric, not a recommendation or determination about that person.

You are responsible for your prompts and how you use outputs. AI-generated content may be inaccurate or incomplete and must not be relied on as professional advice. You must have the rights to any content you submit, must not attempt to jailbreak or misuse the AI, and must not generate unlawful, harmful, infringing, hateful, or deceptive content. We may remove content, filter outputs, or suspend accounts that violate these rules, and we maintain a takedown process for rights-holder complaints; repeat infringers will be terminated.
